Your training stays on your phone. Liftholm has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don't sell or share your data.

What stays on your phone

Your goals, schedule, plans, logged sets, body measurements and settings are saved on your iPhone (and your Apple Watch during a workout). We don't have a server that receives them. Files you import from Strong or Hevy are read on your phone. A CSV export goes only where you choose to save or send it.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Liftholm reads your heart rate during a workout to show it on screen and on the Lock Screen, and saves your strength workouts to the Health app. Health data is used only for those features. It is never used for advertising, never sent to us, and never shared with anyone else.

Strava

If you connect Strava, each workout you finish is posted to your Strava account as a weight-training activity: its name, start time, duration and a list of its lifts and sets. Strava's sign-in returns a one-time code that must be exchanged for access tokens using a secret that can't be kept in the app, so the code (and, every few hours, a refresh token) passes through a small Liftholm service on Cloudflare that swaps it with Strava. That service stores nothing; it passes Strava's answer back to your phone. Your tokens are kept in your iPhone's Keychain. Disconnecting removes them from your phone and revokes Liftholm's access at Strava. What Strava does with your activities is covered by Strava's privacy policy.

Hevy

If you connect Hevy, Liftholm uses the key you paste from your Hevy settings to send each finished workout to your Hevy account (private unless you choose to share them) and, when you ask, to bring your Hevy history in. The key is kept in your iPhone's Keychain and goes only to Hevy. What Hevy does with your workouts is covered by Hevy's privacy policy.

Removing your data

Deleting Liftholm from your iPhone deletes everything it saved there. Workouts already sent to Apple Health, Strava or Hevy stay there until you remove them in those apps.

Children

Liftholm isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
